Just a few weeks into the challenge and I am loving it. I see Mr. Roy is trying to read more books than me, so I will have to pick up the pace. Please review the comments to see what everyone is reading.

Since the challenge began I have read:

Blogging for Dummies **** It was really helpful for getting my blog going.

The Lion in Glory ****(Shannon Drake) A cheesy romance that made my heart pitter patter.

Prior Bad Acts****(Tammi Hoag) About a judge who rules that a convicts proir bad acts are inadmissable. Really tricky book. I was never sure who the bad guy was.

Double Exposure**(Stephen Collins) About a t.v critic whos phyco neighbor is out to get him. It was kind of hard to follow and just when it got good, it was over.

I am very intent on being a leader, and eventual uncontested Victor of this challenge by the end of the summer.

Mary,Mary **** (James Patterson) This book is about a serial murderer killing Famous Hollywood mothers.

Wild Justice *** (Phillip Margolin)
About a serial killer who kidnaps and tortures his victims for days at a time before killing them. This one was good, but figuring out the killer was not so hard.

The Truth (with some jokes) **** (Al Franken) This book is a funny and informative look at the media and the conservative Republican party. Not recommended for conservative Republicans, but everyone else should enjoy it.

Since I was invited to join I have read II Chronicles*****(Bible)About Kings of Jerusalem and Judah.
Amazing how people back in bible days were just like us today. They exercised their freewill just like we do.

My first book for this week:

Lies, and the lying liars who tell them *** (Al Franken) This was written prior to Truth, and was not as funny but still worth a read if you like political humor.

Thanks for joining the book club. I was starting to think it would just be Roy and me. I saw your book of choice was the bible and I thought you might like to cruise some of the christian run blogs. They are really good, some even do weekly bible studies. You can find a list Of christian blogs on the home page of I actually thought the stories on this blog were pretty good.
